Title: Technical Consultant / Project Manager / IT Manager
Responsibilities
- provide expert level support to helpdesk and field service engineers
- represent to manage software and hardware vendors or 3rd Parties to analyze and troubleshoot problems and issues
- regularly review the service level agreements of CLSA's software and hardware vendors or 3rd Parties
- provide technical advices on automating new desktop management software deployments
- build and test Standard Operating Environment
- test and apply security patches to desktops
- analyze IT problem and issue cases regularly and recommend improvement actions
- provide inputs to IT projects on desktop management e.g. desktop refresh projects, IMAC activities
- provide technical advices to IT strategy planning
- review and maintain operation and technical support documentation
- Desktop management service performance review, continual improvement planning, IT internal audit.
- regularly review the skill inventory of the desktop support staff and devise training planning for the staff
- regularly review the performance of the desktop support staff and devise improvement plan
Requirement:
- Degree in IT or related disciplines
- Experience in handling corporate client projects or supplier projects preferred
- Certified of Microsoft Windows Solutions and related product technical certification.
- Willing to learn and aggressive
- Excellent communication and written skills with variety levels of users
- Self-motivated and clear company and self objective
Key desktop technical Requirement is needed below:
1. Desktop support experience in an Investment bank (ibank) environment for at min 6 years, of which 3 years must be of a manager/leader capacity.
2. Windows desktop XP and Win 7, Active Directory, GPO, file and print. Exchange is not required but a bonus.
3. Desktop security: Antivirus, end point protection, data encryption, PC lock-down, OS hardening, patch deployment, GPO deployment
4. Desktop lifecycle management. PC imaging, provisioning, compliance checking, inventory, deprovisioning.
5. Software delivery. Use of tools and processes.
6. Mobile device support. Laptop, BlackBerry, iPhone, iPad, Android.
7. Basic networking knowledge and association with desktops.
8. Major office apps, MS Office 2003-2010, Adobe Acrobat, IE8.
9. Understanding of system components such as .Net framework, Java Runtime, ActiveX, ODBC.
10. Deep understanding of OS architecture such as registry, local policy, paging file, Windows networking, NTLM, user profile, system events, netsh, WMI
11. VB script programming is a plus.
12. Office and IE architecture. Add-ons, macros, IE add-ins, security lock-down, group policies around the products.
13. Must show ability to adapt to ever changing environment with varying priorities, and demonstrate a strong working relationship with co-workers
14. Consider other experience to manage large scale Data Centre operations
- Practical experience in operational process and procedures such as production integration, production control and scheduling and facilitate management of the data centers
- Strong Data Centre facilities management experience, working with the maintenance services provider on the provision of stable electricity, air conditioning, fire protection, annual drill
15. less experience will consider to be a IT Help Desk, experience in User Support, UAT testing, Networking, structural cabling, PABX system, Blackberry, Push-mail etc. Min 2 years related IT helpdesk services experience in financial services/invesment/banking/mutual fund industry;Good knowledge in Microsoft network environment (Windows Server 2003, XP/2000, and Office 2003/2007 or above.) Provide support, configuration and stabilize for all IT infrastructure including desktops / laptops, printer, photo copiers, ip-phone systems, firewall and router etc., Configuration, Administration & Maintenance of Storage & Backup Systems, Hand on experience I.T. document administration policy and procedure,Design, develop and maintain in-house application systems including corporate website.
