Sales Support Officer

Title: Sales Support Officer

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist distributors and their admin. staff to ensure effective new business submission through effective training and understanding of each others’ administrative procedures
  • Preparation of distributor contract and control of all aspects of new distributor appointment
  • Facilitate visits from distributors & their clients for meetings/seminars in office
  • Assist sales management in the organization of all internal & external meetings & events
  • Maintain a library of all sales related materials (sales aids, presentations etc.)
  • Maintain records of all functions
  • Issue all documentation to distributors in connection with new/revised product launches
  • Provide support on promotion of marketing material and stock control of literature
  • Manage all aspects of distributor e-service sign-up and follow-up
  • Ongoing enhancement of the informational functionality of the distributor’s web-site
  • Channel operation procedure maintenance
  • Provide the front line sales service to phone enquiries and walk in’s to office
  • Provide MIS to distributors on their business with Standard Life to enhance the relationship and develop cross-selling opportunities
  • The provision of regular sales statistics, MIS reports, support for sales campaigns and broker incentives for the department and ad hoc project support. 
  • Any ad-hoc sales support for the department

 

Qualifications / Experience

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Possess IIQE licences 1,3,5 and FLMI qualification preferred
  • At least 3-5 years working experience, which 1-2 years experience in Sales/Sales Support of life insurance industry
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Quick learner and willing to take on board new skills after training
  • Work well under pressure and able to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Good Mandarin will be an asset
  • To be a team player working together and willing to help Sales and other depts. as necessary
  • Mature, good telephone manners and good disposition
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
